It’s nothing personal, it’s just drag. “Nice Boys” is an exploration into the beauty of queerness 🌈 connection 💖 disconnection 🙅 and timeless desires.

This song was inspired by the documentary “100 Men” which reflects on 40 years of queer history. In the documentary filmmaker, Oremland, reads out a classified ad from an old, 1980’s newspaper: “One nice boy wants another nice boy, to go to bed with and do everything else with.” This became the central motif for this song.

Blended through the past and present, “Nice Boys” forms an audio and video collage expressing the bittersweet sentiment behind the search for “one nice boy.”
